Adoption Process
We understand that there are many reasons why you might be hesitant to adopt a dog, and we know it's a very difficult decision to make.
If you have any doubts and would simply like to discuss them, please don't hesitate to contact us. A member of our team will be happy to listen and help you make the right decision, or guide you through the adoption process and help you choose the best option.
- We do not charge a replacement fee and do not finance the purchase of dogs requiring replacement.
- We require an adoption fee from new owners. This is to ensure that the people who will welcome the dog are the best fit for its needs. Adopting a dog is a financial commitment, and we want every dog to be considered a full-fledged member of the family.
- Adoption fees are used to cover veterinary care that some dogs require when adopted, including vaccinations, medications, spaying/neutering, dental treatments, and other necessary procedures or expenses.
- We respond to requests the same day. In case of an emergency requiring immediate assistance, please call us directly.

Do you charge for reimbursement fees?
No. We do not charge placement fees and we do not finance the purchase of dogs for placement.
Do you charge adoption fees?
Yes. We do ask for an adoption fee from new owners. This allows us to ensure that the people who will be welcoming your dachshund are the best fit for him. This fee also helps cover veterinary care such as vaccinations, medication, spaying/neutering, dental care, and other necessary procedures.
What happens if I can no longer keep my dog?
