Founded with a lifelong passion for dogs and a special love for Shih Tzus, our mission has always been simple: to connect healthy, happy Shih Tzus with loving families who will cherish them for life. What began as a personal dream grew into ShihTzuPetsHome, a trusted place where families can find well-cared-for companions and receive support throughout their adoption journey.
My love for Shih Tzus started at a young age. I was born and raised on a farm where my parents were breeders, so caring for animals has always been part of my life. Growing up around dogs taught me responsibility, compassion, and the importance of providing every animal with the love and attention they deserve. While I have admired many breeds over the years, Shih Tzus have always held a special place in my heart. My grandparents gave me my very first Shih Tzu as a gift, and from that moment, I fell in love with the breed. The loyalty, affection, and companionship I experienced inspired a passion that continues to this day.

I got a Shih Tzu from Shihtzu Pets Home for my dad's birthday while he's been dealing with some health issues, and I honestly couldn't have picked a better gift.The little guy is so sweet and loving.
